The Carnival Committee were delighted with the Carnival the street collection was however down this year to £1330, all the money collected from the street collection will be distributed to local charities and good causes.

Maldon Carnival Association wish to express thanks for the continued support from Arrow Taxi’s, Chelmsford Radio, Maldon Constitutional Club, Maldon Bowls Club, Domino Pizza, Fun Castles The Police and Fire Services, Maldon District and Town Councils, The Town Mayor of Maldon Steven Savage, Deputy Town Mayor of Maldon Peter Stilts and the traders and businesses of Maldon and the public.
The 1st. ever (we believe) Maldon Winter Parade took place on November 29th. 2008.The event was a great success dispite being overcast and chilly, luckily the rain held off until it was almost finished.
The 2009 Winter Parade was held on Saturday November 28th and was double the size of the previous years Parade, the weather was fine and dry but a bit cold and the crowds came in good numbers in support.
The 2010 Winter Parade took place on Saturday 27th November and was a great success.
The 2011 Winter parade took place on Saturday 3rd. December with continued success.
The Summer Carnival is held annually on the first Saturday in August and will be held on Saturday August 4th. 2012.
